CHANKANAAB NATIONAL MARINE PARK

Chankanaab National Marine Park is one of Mexico's jewels and one of our favorite places to play, especially if you have children with you. It is a 10 minute taxi ride from the Casa, Chankanaab has a wide variety of activities sure to please just about anyone of any age.
Here you can swim and play with the dolphins at Dolphin Discovery.
Make your reservations early because this is their most popular activity. You don't want to miss it! They book up very quickly due to all of the cruise ships that come into Cozumel every day (except Sunday).
They also have a sea lion show (you can swim with them too), stunning botanical gardens, Mayan ruin reproductions, as well as an underground river, a tropical lagoon teeming with beautiful fish and many restaurants and shops.
Beware of various individuals offering you "free passes" to the park. Unless it is a reputable firm that has a true storefront or someone you know personally, you will simply waste your money and your time. This is often the case with individuals attempting to rent you a car or a scooter and use a "free pass" as an incentive to rent with them. Be sure to talk to our Management staff on site so you aren't disappointed.
